We are a non profit making club affiliated to the British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC), a worldwide recognised organisation. Based in Hertfordshire, we have around 50 members ranging from 14 to 70 years of age.

Hoddesdon is a very friendly club and our membership includes a number of BSAC nationally qualified instructors, who’s services are free to members. We dive everywhere, but mostly along the south coast of England, North Wales and Northumberland. We believe that the British waters have just as much to offer as those exotic holiday destinations. Every year, Hoddesdon organises many diving trips for it’s members in the UK and abroad.

We are a group of like minded people who adore diving and our energies are spent organising quality and interesting safe diving for our members. With many great dive sites available in the UK we organise diving trips to suit all levels of experience from inland waters to deep sea, from Lands End to John o Groats. Trips abroad are regularly undertaken to places like the Red Sea, Mexico, Maldives to name but a few.

As none of us learn at the same rate, we tailor our training programmes and schedule to the individual; if you want to learn to dive and make friends within a club environment HSAC is the place to start.

The club meets every Tuesday evening from 8pm at Hartham Swimming Pool, when members have exclusive use of the pool for training and swimming. The evening finishes off with a drink and chat in the The Six Templars

We own two Rigid Inflatable boats.

Raven II a 7.5m RIB with twin Honda engines based in Portland.

The Jean Mary a 6.2m RIB with Mercury engine, has over the past year, been used to dive in the Farne Isles, Angelsey, Plymouth , Salcombe and many other south coastal areas.

We also dive from chartered hard boats and these tend to be for places like the Farne Islands, Oban and Mull, Southern & Northern Ireland, and more.
